On October 22, 2018, the Board of Supervisors passed a resolution to post notice of the intent to abandon a 0.22 mile section of Barn Road (SR 627) pursuant to Section 33.2-909 of the Code of Virginia and to schedule a public public hearing in order to hear citizen comments. The portion of Barn Road (SR 627) in question is from 0.18 mi East of Route 600 (Tyler Road) to the intersection with Route 658 (Meadow Creek Road).
This public hearing has been scheduled for Monday, November 26, 2018 at 7:15 pm at the Montgomery County Government Center 2nd Floor Board Room, 755 Roanoke Street, Christiansburg, VA.
