The Treasurer's duties include:
The Treasurer is an elected official responsible for the receipt and collection of revenue from local, state and federal sources. The Treasurer collects, disburses and invests County funds, maintains a general ledger and collects local and state taxes.
Real estate taxes - due June 5 and Dec. 5 (if either date falls on a weekend, taxes will be due the first business day following the due date)
Delinquent tax sales - notice posted for July 3, 2018, for delinquent taxes and judicial sale of real property.
Personal property taxes - due Dec. 5 (if this date falls on a weekend, taxes will be due on the first business day following the due date)
Motor vehicle license fees - due Dec. 5 (if this date falls on a weekend, taxes will be due on the first business day following the due date)
Dog licenses - due Jan. 31, on sale beginning Nov. 1.
