Montgomery County’s FY2015 Annual Report is the recipient of the Gold Summit Award from the Public Relations Society of America. The FY2015 video report won in the modest budget category for annual reports. PRSA held its 14th annual Summit Awards Gala on Nov. 5 at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center.
The county’s annual report also won the Gold Award in television promotions and an honorable mention for government video in the 2015 MarCom Awards. This is an international competition open to marketing and communication professionals.
The Summit Awards are an annual recognition of the best in public relations and communications efforts by professional public relations practitioners in Southwest Virginia.
The Summit Awards allow individuals or agencies to submit their work in a variety of areas, with most divided into modest or average budgets. This year’s entries were evaluated in the areas of research, planning, execution, and evaluation. The competition is open to all professional public relations practitioners in Southwest Virginia.
PRSA is the world’s largest association of public relations professionals.
