Never heard of Cyclo-cross? No problem! Cyclo-cross is an intense sport that consists primarily of skinny-tired bikes on a muddy course for as many laps as you can get in during a 60 minute race. The main attraction from a spectator's point of view is the close proximity to the action. There are wrecks, battles, wipe-outs and excitement every minute of the race and the spectators are no more than a couple feet away at any point in the course. They get involved in the action, too - Cyclo-cross spectators are likely to be cheering and heckling riders and generally having fun outside the course. A Cyclo-cross race is as fun as the spectators make it.
