Why we have rules

All pool rules are put into place to keep our patrons safe and to keep our facility clean. These rules will be monitored and enforced regularly to keep you safe. If something is seen that is deemed unsafe by the lifeguard or pool supervisor, the action will be stopped.


The rules

Deck: Do not allow ...

  • running
  • food and drinks (only allowed under the shelter or in picnic areas
  • pushing people into the pool
  • pulling people into the pool
  • flips, back dives, backward jumps, cartwheels, etc., from the pools edge
  • anyone but guards on the stand
  • unsupervised toddlers to roam the deck
  • pool furniture is to remain on the deck - no exceptions

Diving area: Do not allow ...

  • any diving while people are going down the slide
  • playing on the ladders
  • hanging on the slides
  • anything that you deem unsafe you cannot allow to continue

Shallow area: Do not allow ...

  • horseplay
  • dunking
  • wrestling, chicken fights, piggyback rides, etc.
  • throwing people
  • hanging on ropes or ladders
  • playing with skimmer boxes
  • personal floatation devices except arm floats or life jackets

Slide area: Do not allow ...

  • more than one person on the slide at a time
  • someone to be on the ladder while someone is going down the slide
  • anyone to catch someone coming off of the slide
  • anyone to go down the slide any way other than feet first and on their back
