Montgomery County Parks & Recreation kayak courses are exciting, challenging and always a great time. Our goal is to encourage whitewater enthusiasts to paddle safely and confidently. Kayaking is an increasingly popular way to explore the beautiful waters in Southwest Virginia. Our instructors will provide you with high quality, hands-on instruction. Transportation and instruction is included. Bring a lunch and water for all day river trips. All participants must be able to swim.
