Mid-County Park
Mid County Park is centrally located just out side of Christiansburg.  Mid County Park is our largest park at 110 acres, and also hosts most of our Departments amenities such as the Frog Pond Swimming Pool, the Activities Center and Golden Hill Disc Golf Course.  Come on out and take a dip in the swimming pool or picnic under one of the three shelters or take a hike on some of the many nature trails and disc golf course that is offered in this premier park.

    Park rentals
    We have a variety of facilities available for rental to the general public.  Each rental requires completion of the appropriate rental form, all of which are available at the Administrative Office and on the web.

    Shelters #1, #2, #3
    $20 half day: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. or 3-9 p.m.
    $40 whole day: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
    Maximum capacity - 100
    (All rentals require a refundable $25 damage deposit)
    Season: April 1 - October 31

    Mid County Park Activity Center
    $25/hr. (minimum 2 hour rental)
    $45/hr. for the entire facility
    Maximum capacity - 99
    (All rentals require a refundable $100 damage deposit)
    Season: January 1 - December 29

    Frog Pond Leisure Pool
    $75/hr. (minimum 2 hour rental)
    8 - 11 p.m. - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
    7 - 11 p.m. - Saturday, Sunday
    Maximum capacity - 100
    Season: June 3 - Sept. 4
