The Information Technology (IT) department is responsible for the complete life-cycle support of the software applications and technical infrastructure used by Montgomery County employees.  IT provides day-to-day support of most Montgomery County functions to include, County Administration, Finance & Procurement, Human Resources, Human Services, General Services, Planning & GIS, Parks & Recreation and Emergency Services. Support is also provided to Constitutional Officers and Agencies to include: Commonwealth Attorney, Clerk of Courts, Registrar, Public Service Authority, Metropolitan Planning Organization, Treasurer, Commissioner of the Revenue, and the Sheriff’s Office.   An “on-call” 24x7x365 support function also exists for mission critical systems in use at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
