Notary Commission

In order to become a notary, you must first submit an application to the Secretary of the Commonwealth. Notary applications are available in the Circuit Court Clerk's Office or online. Once completed, please mail applications with the appropriate fee to the Secretary of the Commonwealth.

Once your notary commission has been approved, you should receive a notification letter from the Secretary of the Commonwealth. You must pick up your commission and pay the $10 commission fee at the Clerk's office within sixty (60) days of its issuance. Please bring photo identification and the $10 fee to our office.
