    Career:  Retired as Sheriff of Montgomery County in 2003.
    Education: A.A.S. degree in administrative justice from NRV Community College. He is also a graduate of the National Sheriff’s Institute and studied at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.  In addition, he is a certified criminal justice instructor.

He has attended numerous specialized law enforcement training programs and is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Academy.
